Entering an Item Transfer Item Transfer Details
R365 Classic App


Item Transfers can be easily created via the R365 Classic App (Black).


Step 1: Open a New Item Transfer Form

Log in to the R365 Classic App (Black) using your R365 login credentials. Once logged in, select 'Operations' and then 'Inventory Transactions' and a listing of all Item Transfers and Waste Logs will be displayed. To create a new Item Transfer, click the plus sign in the top right corner and select 'Item Transfer'.


Step 2: Enter in the Header Information

The first tab will display the necessary Header information for this Item Transfer. Update the date if it is not the current day and enter both transfer Locations (Users will only be able to choose from the Locations noted on their User record in the 'Transfer From' selector).

When the Header is complete, click the 'Detail' tab in the bottom, right corner.


Step 3: Enter the Item Details

On the 'Detail' tab, ensure that you:

  1. Click '+ New' and Type or select the desired item under the 'Item' selector. If you are unable to find a specific item or Recipe, you will need to review that Item's record to make sure it was setup correctly in R365
  2. Update the UofM field if needed, as the Inventory UofM will auto-populate this field
  3. Enter in the correct quantity
  4. Add individual comments as needed
  5. Click 'Save' in the top, right corner to add the item to the Item Transfer form

Repeat this process for each individual item that is being transferred, and when completed, save the form by clicking the three dots in the top, right corner of the form and selecting 'Save and Close'.
