Waste Logs can be entered on either the Desktop Browser or the R365 Classic App. Previously entered Waste Logs can be viewed on the Inventory Transactions grid in the 'Operations' module or the All Transactions grid.
Ensure that all necessary items are setup correctly first, including choosing a Waste account on the 'Inventory Cost' tab that connects financially to your Waste Logs. For restaurants that only use Waste Logs for Operational reports and not Financial reports, enter the same Cost account as the Waste account. Consult with your internal team to confirm which method works better for your group.
If a Recipe needs to be entered as a Waste Log, ensure that you mark it as 'Available in Inventory' on the 'General' tab and enter in the correct Waste account on the 'Inventory Cost' tab.
Your items and Recipes are now setup to be used on Waste Logs!
